Ride Kind

Ride Kind: Together we can keep trails open, accessible, inclusive and maintained.

By riding as our best selves, we can preserve and expand trail access and build a positive trail culture for all trail users.

  • Ride Considerate: Smile, say hi. Interact with other trail users, yield when appropriate.

  • Ride Aware: Help others in need on the trail. Check on group members, and wait at trail junctions.

  • Ride No Trace: Leave your trail better than you found it. Don't leave poop bags on the trails—no poop left behind, people or pooch.

  • Ride Low-Impact: No cutting corners—Stay on designated routes.

  • Ride Prepared:  Be a trail steward—Know trail conditions and have a plan B if you find the trail you want to ride is muddy.

  • Ride Safe: Know your gear and be prepared for the worst case scenario and have a plan.

  • Ride Committed: Give back to the trails you ride by volunteering for trail clean up and other activities. Give back to a local trail organization.
